42s is an iOS adaptation of Thomas Okken's Free42, a stable re-implementation of the highly-regarded HP-42S RPN calculator. It functions natively on iPhones for optimal speed. Offering the complete range of functionalities found in the original 42S model, including hundreds of functions, programmability, and printer output, 42s also brings enhancements such as increased precision and the ability to import and export programs.

	<li>Programmable for tailored functionality with optional packages for Engineering, Scientific, Financial, and Statistical applications. Compatible with 41CX programs.</li>
	<li>Internal computation and storage in 25-digit decimal precision.</li>
	<li>Support for typing characters and variable names using the iPhone keyboard.</li>
	<li>Substantially faster performance compared to the original calculator, especially in program execution, solving, integration, and matrix operations.</li>
	<li>Vertical swipe on the LCD for up to 7 lines of display.</li>
	<li>Double-tap LCD for cut and paste functionalities as well as stack manipulation.</li>
	<li>Sound tones that replicate those of the original HP-42S.</li>
	<li>Tap on LCD in alpha entry mode to toggle the display of the iPhone keyboard.</li>

Additional functionalities in version 3.0 include:
<ul>
	<li>Compatibility with iOS4, offering seamless application switching and bug fixes for compatibility issues.</li>
	<li>Hi-res keypad image specific to iPhone 4.</li>
	<li>Undo and Redo functions enabled by swiping the LCD left or right.</li>
	<li>Display option for showing set flags 0-4 at the display's top.</li>
