42s is an iOS adaptation of Thomas Okken's Free42, a stable re-implementation of the highly-regarded HP-42S RPN calculator. It functions natively on iPhones for optimal speed. Offering the complete range of functionalities found in the original 42S model, including hundreds of functions, programmability, and printer output, 42s also brings enhancements such as increased precision and the ability to import and export programs.

- Internal computation and storage in 25-digit decimal precision.
- Support for typing characters and variable names using the iPhone keyboard.

- Hi-res keypad image specific to iPhone 4.
- Undo and Redo functions enabled by swiping the LCD left or right.
- Display option for showing set flags 0-4 at the display's top.
